I've decided to participate in Clover Lane's 40 bags, 40 days challenge. You can check what it'a all about right here.
I started late (what's new these days) but my goal is to get as much clutter out as I can. I know I've done at least 5 bags already. I'm still doing acupuncture everyday. I'd say I'm 80-85% better. Acupuncture is very draining for me. But days like today are still hard. I have weakness in my fingers and hands which causes pain and fatigue. I feel like such a wuss complaining because I am so grateful/thankful that the pain in my back, shoulders, hips, knees, and legs is gone or like 99.9% gone. I really believe the last piece to this puzzle is having all four of my wisdom teeth removed already. Tuesday is my consult date and I'm going to have them schedule me for the very next open appointment they have.
I'm really hopeful for this attempt at decluttering to be successful. I can't even begin to explain what it's been like not being a prisoner in our own home. I guess if I had to use one word I would say bittersweet. It's been very hard for me to move on, but I'm realizing more and more each day that we need this, we need to move on. Everyday, I realize more and more how much control CDQ had over our home. I trusted so much that if I were just more understanding, more accommodating and there for her when she needed me she would get better. Unfortunately, sometimes it is what it is and CDQ just enjoyed having me as her puppet. I don't expect people to understand. She does have a lot of issues and problems, but sometimes manipulation is just plain manipulation and has nothing to do with fear or anything else.
My kids at home are moving to the next level and it's exciting and scary at the same time. I have a post in the works (and three others) but I need to get homeschooling underway and I am waiting for the contractor to show up.
Hope all is well with everyone. :-)
