Gingerbread Fun

Here are the kids decorating their Gingerbread boys and girls that I baked them. I still haven't constructed the house because well... I don't want to be frustrated right now. Ya know? I will sometime within the next couple of days.

Here they are with their final masterpieces. The boy caught a baseball with his head earlier that day. He's pretty good at that.

I leave you with a pic of my sister, here she is impersonating her gingerbread. In all fairness she didn't realize I had the camera on and was taking pictures. I was lucky to swing around and catch this gem on film.Good thing she doesn't have a computer or internet access, huh? lol

Polar Express Day

So last Friday was Polar Express Day for my Kindergartener. I have to admit I felt soooo odd as I watched them all run off towards their classes, my eyes resting on him running in his PJs. It just didn't seem right that he was going to school like that. But hey, he had a blast.

They watched Polar Express and did Polar Express activities all day long. When he came home he was so excited. He had that huge bell hanging around his neck.

Later that night, I told Hubs maybe we should have a Polar Express day at home next year where we buy those huge bells and secretly remove the clappers from all of them and then both of us pretend to hear them all day long. Wouldn't that be fun?

Merry Christmas~!

Sorry so late. I suck. I still haven't got the hang of this Christmas drill with 5 kids and this year we added 2 more, plus 2 adults. I got 40 minutes of sleep from Friday until yesterday after 7 PM. Maybe next year? I hear the 3rd time is a charm...or something like that. lol

Argh! I thought I was ready but then I guess if I would have had that extra week I thought I was going to have, meaning I thought I still had a weekend and a week when I really only had a week to get things done and I got sick for three of those days. I would have been good. lol December sure came and went pretty quickly!

All in all, everything went great and I have a ton of pictures to post. We had a wonderful Christmas. How was yours?
