Lord of the Dance or Karma?

So, I told Hubbins I was going to post about this incident and he told me "you are sooooo wrong." and you know what he is probably right, but I am the one sporting the bruise and I figure I have the right. LOL!

Hubbins' yeast infection has been causing the spasms. We have a hospital bed in our house for him. When I work on him, I'll put the head up or down or whatever.

This particular time, I was trying to distract him from the spasms and decided I would try to be funny. Well, actually, I try to be funny but it doesn't always work. I probably come off more of a jerk than anything because who really wants to laugh when they are in pain?

Anyhow, his legs were kicking really high when I put his head down. They were bending at the knee as if he were kind of skipping in air. It's hard to describe.

I told him something to the effect of "Oh, you think you're bad because you can do the River dance?, Show off!"

He replied to me "I am Lord of the Dance."

I stood straight up laughing about to say something else when I got a sharp knee to my locked hip.

OW-WEE!

I had an instant bruise that's how hard it hit. I suppose I had it coming...but still. Also, I couldn't help but use the situation to my advantage to tease him some more.

What can I say it's my job. lol!

Sometimes the words just don't come out right...

and I don't even notice.

Yesterday in the car, Hubs and I were talking politics and somehow we came around to Clinton and Monica. This is how the conversation went:

Me: "I just can't believe that woman is making purses and became famous for what she did. "
Hubs: "Purses.?"
Me: "Yeah, she makes these fugly purses and people actually buy them. "
Hubs: "Really.?"
Me: "Yep. Clinton got into all this trouble and yet she became famous for being a whore , which they both are and what I don't understand is why no one has gone down on her."
Hubs: *What I thought was silence became extreme chuckling. *
Me: *rethinking what I just said...doh! I meant come down on her, no one has come down on her... Yeesh.*

Later on when I was ironing on the kids Girl Scout Patches the whole conversation entered my mind again and I got a fit of giggles because I started to wonder just what I've said to people over the years. I know some people will grin or chuckle when I am talking to them and I'll ask what and they'll just shake their head and say nothing.

Wonder what little gems I have dropped here and there over the years. *rolling my eyes*
